The start of your day follows you till the day ends, and a bad morning will set a poor tone for the entirety of the day. That is why it is important to make sure that you start your day just right.


For many people, waking up early in the morning after snoozing the alarm clock too many times, groggily pouring a cup of coffee, then rushing about to get everything done on time is part of the daily routine. Mornings are the most critical part of our days, and yet, that is when we give the least time and consideration to our mind and body.


Research shows that productivity levels are highest during the first three hours after a person wakes up. That is why it's important to take full advantage of that time to set yourself up to succeed throughout the day.

Consistent morning routines and rituals are the best way to warm up for your daily activities. Most successful people swear by their morning routines and stress upon their importance. Focus On Sleep

A good day begins the previous night. Not getting enough sleep makes you annoyed, agitated, and overall cranky. A lack of sleep will also affect your concentration, motor skills, and decrease your productivity levels immensely.


Getting a good night's sleep will give your body the rest it needs to get ready for the next day. It will improve your memory, your social interactions, and have positive effects on your emotional wellbeing and mental health.

Have A Good Breakfast

Ever heard the term hangry? Lack of proper nutrition at the beginning of the day increases the chance of low levels of blood sugar.


Low levels of blood sugar result in your body releasing stress hormones like cortisol. Eating a healthy breakfast will make you energised and help you feel more relaxed, rather than hungry and angry.

Exercise

Not everyone has the time for a full-fledged workout session early in the mornings.


Thankfully, you don't need to fit a trip to the gym in your already busy schedule to reap the benefits of early morning exercise.


A good stretching session on the yoga mat (or even in bed) will increase blood flow to your muscles. Doing a few jumping jacks and push-ups will bring up your energy levels and release hormones like serotonin and dopamine, making you feel happier.


It doesn't have to be a complex workout routine, just make sure you move enough to wake up your body and mind in the right way.
