Confident Kids is…

Confident kids
A fun, new social / emotional resiliency program for children and adolescents aged 6 - 16 years, based on a proven, treatment approach incorporating traditional Cognitive - behavioural therapy techniques and mindfulness practice.
Confident Kids teaches children new ways to cope with challenging situations and how to pay attention to their physical experiences, thoughts and feelings in order to reduce worry, fear and stress.
Participating in the program will equip your child with essential skills to help them achieve their full academic, emotional and social potential at school and throughout their life.

What happens during the program?

Confident Kids is an 8 - week course. Each session runs for 1½ hours a week, with parents invited to participate in two sessions to ensure key skills are reinforced at home.
The aim of the program is to increase awareness of how children think and behave through story telling, role play, games and activities.
