The services provided at the centre include a variety of psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for individuals, families and groups.

Christine Bagley-Jones
Director

Christine is a registered Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society with over 15 years experience in mental health.

Christine's caring and professional approach caters for a variety of disorders and concerns and has earned her a reputation as a highly effective practitioner with specialist skills and knowledge in helping people.


Danielle Rye
BA Psych (Hons), Assoc. MAPS

Danielle is a registered psychologist and associate member of Australian Psychological Society, with experience working with children, adolescents and adults, in both public and private sectors. Specialising in clinical and forensic mental health, Dani’s compassionate, practical, and professional approach has assisted clients with a range of psychological issues to achieve positive outcomes for themselves. Her counselling strengths include the ability to create a relaxed and supportive environment, and to empower her clients, allowing them to make lasting changes.


Diana Peterson

BSc. (Hons) Psychology. Assoc M.A.P.S. Registered

Diana is a highly qualified registered psychologist (provisional) who has worked in the area of mental health for many years. One of Diana’s key strengths is her thorough understanding of mental health issues gained through years of ongoing study as well as having suffered anxiety and panic attacks herself.

Diana brings with her extensive life experience as well as deep psychological experience in her areas of expertise which include depression, anxiety, panic attacks, self-esteem issues, obsessive-compulsive behaviour and anger management.

Diana strongly believes that the individual has the power to overcome what may appear to be impossible. She believes that the counsellor’s role is to act as the catalyst to enable the individual to regain effective control of their lives.


Anne D’Arcy-Evans
B.Sc (Hons.), M.Sc., Dip.Clin.Hyp., MAPsS


Anne D’Arcy-Evans is a fully-trained clinical psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society. She brings to the private practice setting a wealth of experience from work in hospitals, clinics, welfare and private practice. She has also been a lecturer in medical psychology in two faculties of Medicine and a post-graduate educator in clinical hypnotherapy.

Anne believes that the best therapeutic situation is one which combines specialised evidence-based knowledge in human behaviour with caring, warmth and humour. She is known for her enjoyable sessions, which nonetheless provide sources of deep wisdom and insight. She uses her training in cognitive-behavioural therapies to provide a practical goal-oriented approach in short to medium termtherapy.

Anne is the mother of two teenage children and has a particular interest in supporting families. She encourages parents to plan early in their children’s lives and to develop the tools for parenting so that the chances of major family problems can be reduced.


Geraldine George
BSc MSc Applied Psychology

Geraldine is a fully registered Psychologist and member of the Australia Psychological Society. She has over ten years experience in both the community sector and private practice.

Geraldine uses a range of therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy, to enable clients to challenge restrictive ways of thinking and to develop health ways of relating and being.

Geraldine helps clients with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma and anger management. She is an empathic listener who successfully encourages clients to grow and increase their self-acceptance.




Larne Wellington

B.Psych (Hons) Assoc. M.A.P.S. Registered

Larne is a registered Psychologist (provisional) and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) with comprehensive experience working with children and families. Larne offers child, adolescent and family therapy, as well as individual and couple counselling.

Larne’s key areas of interest include family and parenting issues, promoting resilience and emotional well-being in children and adolescents through the use of early intervention
initiatives such as mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy. Larne also has developed and runs the highly successful Confident Kids and Teens groups for children across Brisbane .

Larne is the mother of two primary school daughters. She has been practicing mindfulness
meditation for over ten years. Larne is interested in the effects of mindfulness on mental health problems.

Larne is also a registered Family Dispute Resolution Provider offering mediation services at CWC.
